The sweetness of innocence

Yesterday my little nieces who are 7 and 9 years old came to visit at the restaurant. But when they got to the store they were more interested in working than having lunch. So I handed them some aprons and checkbooks to play around with. But they took things a little too seriously. They were literally running behind me trying to take orders, serve tables, and clear tables. They even wanted to ring people up at the register. It was so cute, and they were genuinely loving every minute of it. They wanted to stay all day, but eventually they had to leave. But the cutest part was this--once they got back home their mom sends me this picture. She finds them in the kitchen with her aprons and notepads role playing working at the restaurant. They even grabbed the phone to pretend to take pick-up orders. How freaking adorable.

The problem.

The restaurant business is not the problem. Miscommunication is the (main) problem.
